Too far from the character portrayed by Pattinson in the popular and highly-lucrative vampire franchise.

Pattinson’s Edward Cullen is a brooding vampire whose skin sparkles like diamonds when hit by sunlight, which is why fans all over the world go gaga over him. Although he is a vampire, he does not drink the blood of humans.

According to Ancestry.com, the link between them is no other than the royal blood of Prince William and Prince Harry. They are said to be related to Pattinson through their father’s side, most likely through the Pickering family who lived in Yorkshire, England in the early 1500s. Vlad is said to be a distant uncle of Prince William and Prince Harry. Imagine that! Pattinson is not just related to the real life Dracula but also the Princes of Wales! Top that Harry Potter.

And speaking of Harry Potter, Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the series, is said to be a related to a woman who accused of witchcraft in the 16^th century. Parade.com talked to Twilight star Bryce Dallas Howard to talk about her role as Victoria. She revealed her thoughts about replacing Rachelle Lefevre as the evil vampire in the upcoming third installment of the Twilight series. Lefevre was ditched by Summit Entertainment last year after some scheduling conflicts with the studio. She played Victoria in Twilight and New Moon. They then called in Bryce,daughter of Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, and she gladly accepted the offer. She also talked about her fear about having to fight Robert Pattinson and, in the process, messing up his hair.

The 29-year old actress was asked what it is like to be a designated hitter. She admitted, “It wasn’t the first time I replaced another actress. I stepped in for Nicole Kidman in Dogville when she left that film. Victoria was brought to life by Rachelle Lefevre in the first two films, and I wanted to have it feel the same. Hopefully, my performance measures up.” She also added, “My nightmare was that I’d undermine the incredible work Rachelle had done which I thought was beautiful and nuanced and intelligent. I do think I was ready to play Victoria because I’m a huge fan of the books and my friends tease me that I’m an original Twi-hard. I’ve done a lot of weird, otherworldy characters and I think I’m at my best when I’m kind in the woods running around screaming or depressed.”

She also expressed her opinion about the difference between Eclipse and the last two first two installments. She commented, “The previous films have been so much about the romance. Eclipse has romance but there’s so much action, especially the showdown between the Cullens and the army of newborns, and, of course, Victoria’s knockdown, drag-out battle with Edward. I think this a movie to which women can bring their boyfriends. It definitely is an epic action-thriller.”

But what she revealed what she feared most about filming the movie. She confessed, “I just knew that, in our fight scene, if I messed up his hair, millions of young women would want to kill me, so I really tried to be careful not to do that. Actually, I was more nervous about not pulling my punches because I certainly didn’t want to be the one to smack him in the face. In the end, it was fun. But there’s a point after which you’ve been wrestling with someone in take after take for six consecutive hours that it just becomes so absurd. You can’t help but laugh.”

Former child superstar Dakota Fanning has basically grew up in front of our eyes. And last she went to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote the upcoming movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. She plays Jane, one of the high ranking Volturi and twin sister of Alec. Besides Twilight, they talked about sports, her first prom, American Idol, and Britney Spears.

The 16-year old actress told Jay that she was a huge LA Lakers fan. She said, “I really love the Lakers. I love Pau and Kobe.” Leno then gave her signed basketball uniform by Pau and handed it to Dakota. But she plans to give it to her dad as late Father’s Day gift. Jay said, “It’s hard to regift when it’s been seen on The Tonight Show.” But Dakota doesn’t seem to mind. She then revealed that she grew up in a family that was sports-oriented. She said, “My mom went to college on a full scholarship for tennis, my dad played minor league baseball, and my grandfather was a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. She also tried getting into sports and showed some cute of her as a child. She added, “So before I started acting, the plan for me was to be a tennis player- that was the plan for me and my mom had me in tennis classes. One day, I went to her and told her I really love the outfits but it’s just too hot for me- it’s just too for me to play tennis and I didn’t play anymore.”

So, she moved on to soccer but that too proved too much for her. She admitted, “I did play soccer and my ream was called Spice Girls, I was Baby Spice. I was playing in a game one day, and I got the ball for the first time and I was so excited and I was running and running. There was nobody around me, I was thinking this is an easy game, then I kicked into the goal and was so excited. I turned around and nobody was cheering and nobody was proud of me- and I then realized I kicked it in the wrong goal- so I quit soccer, too. I was traumatized.” She then added, “We had to figure something else out., so I starred in I Am Sam at 6, so that had to do.” And as they always say, the rest is showbiz history.

Dakota then talked about going to the prom in which she was crowned homecoming princess. She revealed, “I’m a junior so I’m finally allowed to go to prom. It was really fun. I didn’t think I was going to be able to go and then two days before, I decided to go then I had to find a dress and get ready at the last minute, but it was really fun.” She said that the theme of the prom was Enchanted Garden.

She is also a huge American Idol fan. Her bet this season was runner up Crystal Bowersox, and she got to meet her at the backstage at the show when they visited the singing competition. She said, “Oh my goodness, I was dying. I was such a big fan.”

She then revealed that the first concert she went to was Alicia Keys’ after they shot The Secret Life of Bees. She then went to the Circus tour of Britney Spears with her sister. She then told Jay, “She really the first famous person I met in when I came to California. I met her in a store when I was 6 years old and I was so starstruck by her and I just love her so much.”

Wall Street Journal recently caught up with Twilight Saga screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg in SoHo hotel during breakfast to talk about her work on the vampire movie series. And she revealed, “I’m done with teen romance. I’ve done it to death. Of course, that’s what people hire me for.” Before the Twilight series, she was a writer of TV series like Party Five and Ally McBeal. She then went to write and served as consulting producer of the hit teen drama The O.C. She then left the show to work on the Step Up. Her stint on the 2006 dance flick led her to become the writer of Twilight. Both of the movies were by Summit Entertainment.

She recalled, “Eight months later, they called and said, ‘How do you feel about teens and vampires?’ Well, I love teens and vampires. It’s an unapologetic romance and we just go for it. For older people, it sends them back to an innocent passion, and for young people, it’s tapping into where they are right now.”

Also back in 2006, she hired as a writer for Showtime’s award-winning TV drama series Dexter, for which she won a Peabody Award and was nominated for two Emmys. She recently gave up the show to focus on finishing Breaking Dawn, which has been split into two movies. She was the commencement speaker in her alma mater, Bennington College, a few months ago. She said that when Dexter was mentioned, there was a “huge applause.” But she revealed, “And then Twilight was like ‘Eh.’ They were too cool for Twilight.”

Critics and viewer loved her work on Dexter, but even though Twilight movies were huge at the box-office she was then panned. She admitted, “It’s tough. It sinks in a lot more than praise. It speaks to the inner demons that say I’m a hack anyway. I have to not listen to it.” She added about the Twilight movies “are not trying to be ‘Gandhi.’ Is it high art? No. But it’s not trying to be. They were not about quick wit and dry humor. When I wrote the first draft for Twilight, I had a lot more comedy in there, and then it just became clear it wasn’t the voice of the movie.”

But then again, the Twilight films are critic proof. The first two movies already raked in more than $1.1 billion at the box office. She said, “You’re not wondering if fans will show up. They will.”
