Alec
Alec is one of the high ranking members in the exclusive Volturi Clan who recruit only powerful vampires. He is the twin brother of another Volturi Guard, Jane.
Don’t let their young appearance fool you. Alec is equally as powerful as her twin sister. Other than his basic vampire abilities (e.g. superhuman strength speed and agility, heightened senses, and tough, granite hard skin) he has the ability to cut off a person’s senses. He can make a person blind, deaf, mute, and numb to any feeling he wanted. He can paralyze one’s senses, which is unlike his twin sister, who has the ability to to inflict an illusion of pain. His power appears as a hazy, misty form when he uses it. He may look innocent but he is a deadly opponent. Alec and Jane are considered to be two of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, in the vampire world because of their extraordinary talents they possess. But it is still unknown whether they are good in combat without their powers. But because they lived that long and are one of the most feared members of the Volturi Guard, they might have learned a thing or two.
He is described as having a pale skin color, and has dark, brown hair. His eyes are red and sometimes it turns to black. He has purplish bruises under his eyes, which changes depending on the level of his thirst. Because he was turned into vampires at a young age, he retained his young look and body. He is often described as looking angelic. He looks rather short but he can take any vampires down who are twice his size.
But his powers, like his sister, does not seem to work on Bella. They tried to use their powers on Bella, but it did not prove successful. They tried hard to find a weak spot over Bella’s “shield,” but they could not seem to penetrate it.
It is still unknown on exactly what is the date when he was born or when he was turned into a vampire. Aro had been setting his eyes on him him, and his twin sister, Jane for a long time as potential vampires. But the people around them on the village tried to burn them alive because they believed that the twins were practicing witchcraft. So Aro stepped into to save the twins and eventually slaughtered all the villagers. And because of unforeseen things that happened, he was forced to turn the twins into vampires even at such an early age.
Alec will be played on the movie version of the Twilight saga by Canadian actor Cameron Bright. The now long-haired young actor was became known for his role in the 2006′s X-Men: The Last stand as the mutant Leech. His first major role was in a horror movie Godsend with Robert de Niro in 2004. And at the same year, he worked with Nicole Kidman at the controversial film, Birth. He was also seen on films like Ultraviolet, Running Scared, and Thank You For Not Smoking.
